Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

From January 18 through January 25, over 300 Christian churches will gather together to promote unity and understanding among all Christian traditions. This annual, global event was begun in Poland in 1908, and continues strong today. Let us join together in prayer with our Christian brothers and sisters around the world in hopes of bringing us together as one Christian family.

The theme for this year is: "We will all be changed by the Victory of Our Lord, Jesus Christ."

New Vocations Site
We are developing a new section of our website for the purpose of promoting prayer for vocations. This will include information about our Family Vocation Prayer Program, prayers for vocations and pictures of the seminarians in our Diocese and other men and women in formation in religious communities. Please click on the image to the left to visit this section and let's all pray that God sends forth much-needed workers into the vinyard.
