Heart Healthy Way to Joyous Living

Do you have a family history of diabetes or heart disease? Do you struggle with finding energy to exercise and ways to cook healthy meals? Do you long to decrease stress and increase spirituality in your life?  The Health Ministry Team is offering a six week program, “A Heart Healthy Way to Joyous Living.” The program meets each Thursday from September 2nd through October 7th from 6-8 PM in the cafeteria. Each session includes an exercise activity, a heart healthy meal, and a speaker from the community on the topics of spirituality, exercise, nutrition, diabetes, hypertension, and stress. The course is limited to 20 people and the cost of $30.00 includes all materials and dinners.  Please call the church office at 477-5405 by August 23rd to register.

Why Catholic?
The next session of Why Catholic is quickly approaching. This will be the second half of the last session on our life in Christ, and it focusses on the Catholic Catechism, the rules and guidelines that shape our faith. Sign-up weekend will be held on September 11th -12th, and the program will run during the season of Advent.
