Please check the School Calendar for Good Shepherd School in the front of this handbook for the date of the first day of school. The first bell will ring for all grades at 7:25 a.m.; and classes will begin at 7:30 a.m. ANY STUDENT ARRIVING IN HIS/HER CLASSROOM AFTER THE 7:30 A.M. BELL WILL BE MARKED TARDY.

No children should arrive before 6:55 a.m. as the school doors will not be unlocked before then and the school cannot be responsible for students before that time. Children who do arrive before that time will have to remain outside. Faculty members will be on duty in the cafeteria from 6:55 a.m. until 7:15 a.m. for grades K-5. Students in grades 6-8 report to the cafeteria. At 7:00 a.m. students will report to homerooms. This time in the cafeteria and homerooms is quiet time for study.
