2008 Confirmation Mass Information

1. The Mass is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, 2008 @ 7:00pm

2. Candidates and their sponsors should report to the school cafeteria @ 6:00pm

3. Sponsors should be aware of the candidate's Confirmation name and be prepared to introduce the candidate to the Bishop during the ceremony.

4. Candidate and sponsor dress for the Mass should be conservative and semi-formal.

    a. No flip-flops, athletic shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts or shirts with printing.

    b. Young men should wear dress pants, shirt with collar, preferably a tie and dress/casual shoes

    c. Young ladies should wear skirts and dresses of conservative length or dress pants; blouses, tops, or sweaters with a conservative neckline; and dress/casual shoes.  Strapless or spaghetti straps should be worn with a sweater or jacket.

    d. No gum, candy, cell phones

5. Scripture readers for the Mass are XXX and XXX.  Prayers of the Faithful reader for the Mass is XXX.  Presenters for the Gifts are XXX, XXX, and XXX.  The Gifts will be taken up to the bench where the Bishop is seated.

6. A reception will follow in the school.
